I started Wolfer Heating & Cooling in 2016 with 7 years of industry experience. In starting the business I had two goals.

  #1 To provide for my family.

  #2 To provide Floyd and surrounding counties with honest and reasonable service and installation.

   My HVAC career began in 2009 just after high-school when I got a job with a full service oil and propane company serving southeastern PA.

   I received valuable experience repairing, maintaining and installing all types of heating and cooling systems.  Everything from oil and gas boilers and furnaces, tankless water heaters, heat-pumps, A/C units, mini-split heat-pumps, gas fireplaces, gas ranges, and the list could go on. I also received valuable industry training including becoming NORA Gold Certified and EPA certified, as well as brand specific training. I continue to learn, and take training classes as often as possible.

   In 2015 I left my job to move to my wife's home area in the beautiful mountains of Floyd County. What a great choice!
I began working with my father in-law at Outdoor Furnace Distributing installing Heatmaster SS outdoor wood furnaces. While doing installations I heard many people talk about the need for a reliable, affordable, honest HVAC service company.

   Wolfer Heating & Cooling started as an answer to the need those customers expressed. I am a Licensed Master HVAC tradesman and carry a Class A Virginia Contractors license. My goal is to provide  honest, dependable, customized service to Floyd and the surrounding counties.
